Prohibited Business Types (Applications submitted for merchants on this list will be declined and/or merchant services revoked.)

• Retail, Restaurant, Hotel, or Service where more than 70% of the
  transactions are swiped through a terminal
• Product or service is fulfilled at point of sale
• Merchant is not listed on the MATCH terminated merchant file
• Average Ticket Size is $250 or less
• Principals may not have open bankruptcies

Submission Criteria:

Non-Standard Merchants:

• Standard merchants w/AVT greater than $250
• Standard merchants keying more than 30% of transactions
• Following merchants w/transactions at least 70% swiped:

Auction houses Bail Bond issuers Computers (hard drive/keyboard/ monitor combinations)

Seminars (if paid for at the time of the seminar) Swap meet merchants Travel agencies

• Following merchants are Non-Standard w/ AVT at or below $250:

Barter Associations Beauty Supplies Concert hall or theater Discount-coupon book sales Door-to-door sales Gambling advice

Insurance Policies Long Distance carrier service Multi-level marketing Telephone message services Virtual auction houses Water purification services

• Following merchants are Non-Standard w/ AVT at or below $500:

Art Dealers Computer Hardware/Accessories (printers, monitors, scanners, etc.)

Contingent liability (fulfilled within 90 days) Hair growing products House party plans (e.g., Tupperware)

• Following merchants are Non-Standard w/ AVT at or below $750:

Auto sales (used autos) Furniture Store

Jewelry Stores Vacation rentals (no timeshare sales or other cases where contingent liability is a factor)
